Catch the water!
Installed a trench drain for a high school to keep from flooding the gym. Existing catch basin was improperly placed and did not catch any water. The High School did not want to replace all the concrete to redirect water, so instead we placed the drain Infront of doors, formed the concrete to pitch towards drain, and it has worked great since installed!
Yard Drains

Catch basins are another form used to collect surface water. More commonly used for larger diameter drainage systems, such as commercial properties, roadways, driveways, or collecting large amounts of standing water.
